There is a renaissance of African Art in New York. Prominent Institutions like the Metropolitan Museum of Art opened the season with their great exhibition of Fang. The QCC gallery is gaining stature with its academic interest and its exceptional exhibition of Cameroun Art.
Fang Byeri of the Ntumu style. Known as the William Fagg Fang Byeri.
The celebrated curator from Great Britain foremost museum made it famous in “African Sculpture” where he described the sculpture: “...the Byeri has a presence of an archaic Greek kouros...”
